Happy to share this methods paper featuring a simple double-labelling technique for visualizing cell shape and patterned lignin deposition in plant tissues. Risham developed the method while looking for a fast, inexpensive way to examine cell differentiation at the base of abscising organs in Arabidopsis flowers. Natalie soon discovered that the technique works well across a range of plant tissues, making it a useful tool for many applications in plant biology.

Read more about their method in their open access paper "Dissecting morphological changes during floral organ abscission in Arabidopsis thaliana" published in AoB Plants.
