Bringing biotechnology

Our plant biology lab is a proud supporter of the AMGEN Biotechnology Experience. ABE@CU is a collaboration with U of T Mississauga and AMGEN Canada with funding from the AMGEN foundation. ABE provides high school teachers wth professional development and technical trainng and the loan of research grade equipment and supplies at no cost.

We spent two fun days in the classroom with teachers showing them how to get started. We had so much fun!
